Drainlayer/Foreman

The Company

Our client is a well-established civil contractor with a proven track record of delivering high quality infrastructure projects across the Waikato.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Drainlayer/Foreman to join their team.

The Role

As Drainlayer/Foreman, you will lead the drainage team to install, maintain and repair civil drainage systems including stormwater, sewerage, and watermain pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee drainage crews to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Oversee on-site activities, ensuring work is conducted in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and safety standards.
• Identify and manage site risks as well as monitoring QA and QC.
• Scheduling and managing project resource effectively.
• Maintaining health and safety documentation.

Skills and Experience

• Registered Drainlayer
• Proven track record of delivering large drainage projects.
• Proven experience in meeting project deadlines and budgets.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all site staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work.
